New Shows-  Sevierville’s newest show is Cirque de Chine at Smoky Mountain Palace Theater. This amazing circus-style show includes acclaimed performers, including acrobats, plus the awe-inspiring Thunder Drums. This fun, fast paced show for the entire family offers matinee and evening performances and begins this spring. www.smokymountainpalace.com New Rides- Dollywood’s all new ride, River Battle, is a themed water raft ride equipped with powerful soaker guns. Nine rafts, each with room for eight passengers, follow a 500-foot channel. As the rafts navigate the waters, the battle begins as passengers, each armed with a soaker gun, take aim at each other and more than 100 targets along the way, including large-scale “talking animals”—beavers, skunks, otters, bears and more. www.dollywood.com New Hotels- Sevierville is getting ready for your stay with new hotel rooms and added amenities. In fact, by the end of 2008, a full 25 percent of Sevierville’s overnight accommodation inventory will be brand new.
